G'day, guys. Today is going to be follow-up video from my Nvidia gays redirect video I did just the other day. It has had overwhelming success and I really love all the feedback that everyone has been giving me. But today I have a follow-up video that is going to give you direct access with the Google Drive that has it already edited and ready to go. All you need to do is download the zip. I'm also going to show you a tutorial on how to drop pre-recorded videos into the software and it will change your eyes to the webcam straight up. So this is really helpful for anyone that uses a phone to record any of their videos, because now they can just drop it into their software and away. It goes also if you have multiple webcams, like you're using a laptop that already has a webcam in it and you don't want to use that webcam. Show more
I'm going to show you how to switch between webcams and I'm also going to go through all of the common errors that people have been putting into my comments and how to fix these and how to diagnose and to get this software working perfectly on your computer. But anyway, let's get into it. As you can see here behind me, I've got another Google doc, exactly the same as we did last time, but this time I've got a quicker way for you to download it. Show more
I have this hyperlink right here which can takes you to a Google drive. If you do not already have gaze redirect on your computer, go here first. You click on the link, it'll bring you up to here and all you need to do is right click and download. It will zip that for you and then download. I've already got it downloaded so I'm not going to do it again. So once you have zipped it and it is downloaded, it will come up in your downloads wherever your downloads go to. Show more
That's where it will end up. It'll be called Maxine AR sdk0820. You want to extract all. Once you have extracted all and told it where to go, it should open up automatically, but we'll go to that now. So when you have extracted all, it should pop up onto your screen exactly like this. You're going to go in. As you can see, the bin folder is already in there. Go through samples, as we did before- gaze redirect, and you come to this page. The Run bat is already there and the run back copy is already there as well. So if you want to write: run gaze redirect. Click up the top, as we did last time, CMD click enter and this screen should pop up where you just click there, run dot, bat, enter and Away you go, you guys. Show more
Redirect should pop up in a couple of seconds, maybe 10 seconds to 15 depending how quickly your computer runs. But if you haven't done this yet on your computer, I advise you go watch my last video, which I'll pin up above. It'll show you the long version of this. But if you do this first, then I will show you exactly how to put in OBS. Run it on Zoom, you can run it on Google teams restream and whatever else allows you to use a virtual OBS virtual camera in their software. Then you can run a gaze redirect into that software. But anyway, we'll move on to the next step today. So our next step is going to be putting a pre-recorded video straight into the software and then it will do the I redirection itself. So it doesn't need to be live. You may record something on your phone and maybe a pre-recorded video that you've done with before you've learned about gays redirect and you want to put it up there and switch to eyes. It's really easy to do, but you really need to follow these steps exactly as I do. So you're going to find your pre-recorded video. Name it something easy to copy. I've got this one here. I literally done it two seconds ago. It's 10 seconds long. Just to show you how it works, we're going to drag and drop that straight into the same one that has the Gaze redirect and run bat. So once you've dragged and dropped it into here, you need to go to your run bat and you need to go edit back into this notepad, as we've done the other day. A few things in here need to change. You need to go down into the description below. Show more
It'll have a heading there recorded videos, and this right here needs to be copied and pasted exactly into that notepad. There's literally only one line different, but it's so much easier, just copy paste the whole thing. So we'll go copy, bring up the notepad, select all, paste and there you go. The only the last line is the only thing that's different and it is literally The Gaze redirect exe. That's the same offline mode. This means it's not live from your webcam. Split screen, false. This could be true or false. As you learned in my last video, make sure you go watch that phone first and in this is telling you the directory as in what video you want to get changed. Show more
So if we go back to here where we've got our video that we've put in here pre-recorded, we open up the properties, we copy and we copy the name of the video and then have a look at what type of video it is. So this is an mp4. You may have mov or mkr or whatever else it is. That's up to whatever you use to record your stuff. That may be different or whatever, but it doesn't matter. You just need to know what it is. Open up your notepad and after the, after the in equals, no spaces, paste in what your video is called. Then put Dot MP4 if it's an mp4. If it's an mov, put dot mov. Make sure this is exactly the same as what type of file. It is okay. And then, once you have that, you hit file and save. Okay, it's as easy as that. Close that. Close that. Come up to the top line as we have before CMD enter. This will bring up this black screen, as we've done before. We put in run dot, bat equals and away we go, and there it is pre-recorded underscore gays. So let's watch the original one first. Show more
As you can see, my eyes ain't looking at the webcam at all, they're. They're going all over the joint. Then we'll go back, get out of that. We'll open up our pre-recorded gays eyes are directly on the webcam the whole time. How awesome is that? Show more
Anyone that's out there that's using their phone or doesn't want to use this through OBS for some sort of other reasons, this is you. This is how you can do it. You can record and then just drop it straight into there and Away you go. That was super quick. I know this is only a 10 second video, so it would have been very, very fast. I'm guessing if it's a minute to two minutes, even 10 minutes long, it's probably going to take a little bit longer to do, but that super fast works really well. Show more
Hopefully this helps a lot of you out there that use your phone to record or don't have a webcam. That suits it exactly. Quick disclaimer that you may lose your audio when you do this. I seem to in that video just then. So the easiest way to do this is go into editing software, use your original video as the audio and then your new gaze video will be the visual of it all. So it's really easy to do that. If people want to know how to do that on DaVinci or Adobe Premiere or whatever else, let me know. I can probably do a video on that as well, but it it's pretty simple: just drag and drop them both in there and Away you go. The next thing we're going to run through is how to choose which webcam we want to use. Show more
So if you have a laptop, maybe it's choosing that default webcam, which may be pretty compared to the Logitech Bri or whatever other webcam you have running at the top. So we're going to go back to our runbat. Here we're going to edit. We're going to get rid of our pre-recorded video code. We're going to go back to the original code, which will be on my original video copy that. Show more
Go back to our notepad and paste that in. We're going to file and save that. So we're going to add a little bit more onto the end of this. To be honest, I actually like it saying true, but that's up to you what one you like. So we're going to go to this video's description and, as you can see here, multiple webcams open up the runbat notepad which we have and change the last line. Show more
So the last line, we're going to copy this. Come back into a note Trad. That right there needs to be switched to this. This cam ID equals one. Okay, so it is default is zero. So if this is zero, that is my normal webcam, because I only have one webcam. If you have two webcams, your second webcam will be one. If one doesn't work, change this to two, so on and so forth, and eventually it will find it. I don't know why it's not zero and one I had a friend tried who had multiple webcams and he had to go to three or four before before it found his other webcam. So just keep trying until you find the one that works for you. I haven't had this not work for anyone yet, but if it doesn't work for you, let me know down to the bottom and I'll try and help you. So that is how to choose multiple webcams. Obviously, once you have done it, you need to go file and save and then you can leave that there. That is your Live code, AS we've done before. I obviously don't have multiple webcams, so I'm gonna get rid of this because I don't need it, and I'm going to file and save that the easiest way that I feel that if you are going to do pre-recorded videos and live videos. I'm not gonna ever do that because I'm only ever gonna record live and keep it that way. But if you are ever going to do that, I would suggest taking this runbat copy paste. Show more
Call one of them runbat dot pre-recorded or something else, something you're going to remember that one of them is pre-recorded and then one of them is runbat dot live. Then you don't have to keep going into the notepad and switching between the two codes. You can just choose. Okay, I'm gonna do a live video this time I'm going to run, I'm going to go into the CMD, into here, and instead of just doing run dot bat, I'm going to do runbat dot live and then run that. Show more
So that should run the live folder. If I wanted to pre-recorded, I put dot pre-recorded and so on and so forth with whatever you want to call them. I think this may be an easier way to do this if you do have both. It does seem to work. It's, it's my other ones, just till. You just come up now. If this doesn't work, just delete one of them, go back to runbat and just keep doing it the same way. It's. It's better not to confuse things as much. Just have both codes saved somewhere, with live, one with pre-recorded, and then you can copy and paste and switch and when around whenever you want. So anyway, that is how you switch through webcams. Show more
Plus, a little juicy thing that I thought of whilst doing this video is how to do it live and pre-recorded file so you then you can switch them out. So the last thing I'm going to go through is some really common errors and things you need to look out for when you're doing this download and when you're trying to run the software. So these are the two most common errors that I had for anyone. Show more
In my comments on my last video, I had over a hundred comments of people mostly asking me through errors: what do I do to fix this? So the main one, the main two of them, was: the GPO is not supported, line 77.. This means that your GPU is not compatible with this software. You need a 20, 30, 40 or Titan series Nvidia GPU. It doesn't work on AMD, it does not work on Mac, does not work on 10 series Nvidia gpus either. Sorry to all you guys, that is just the way it works. I think it's the Cuda drive or something within the Nvidia GPU that it doesn't let it work. Sorry, you're gonna have to upgrade your GPU if you want to run this or switch over to Nvidia. So the next most common error that I had was this one: here: given parameter selector is not valid in its effect filter line 95. So this usually meant that you've downloaded incorrect zip files. You have downloaded an 8.1 and an 8.2, one of each. You need to make sure you do an 8.2 both folders or an 8.1 both folders. If you don't want to worry about this at all, I said: go and use that Google Drive I've made down below. It is 8.2. I think the confusion come because, literally hours after I dropped my last video, Nvidia decided to drop an updated version of the 8.1 to 8.2 and I did not specify 8.1 in my last video, so people may have got a bit mixed up. So, as I said, use the Google Google drive down below and you will not get mixed up at all. There was one other error that come up a little bit and it was that you ran it from the Nvidia AR folder instead of the Maxine AR folder. This means it will not work again. If you want to avoid this error, use the Google Drive Down Below, download it straight from there. Everything is edited ready to go for a live video. If you want to do a pre-recorded video, then obviously you need to do what I said in this video and switch it to the pre-recorded code. But anyway, that is it for this tutorial for today and those errors that I've gone across. If this has helped you in any way, let me know in the comments below. Show more
Hopefully I won't get as many errors come up for other people and you can just help yourselves. Amazing feedback from my last video. It is just about to go past 10 000 views. My next best video has hardly even gone over a thousand views, so this is massive. But anyway, keep those comments coming. Hit that like button, hit that subscribe button if you want to see more videos from me. Yes, I usually do games, but I'm going to try and do more tutorials like this so you can better yourself and your content. But anyway, thanks for listening and I'll catch you in the video soon.
